Here's a note I received from friend Don Wunderlich
in North Dakota: A similar situation in Jamestown ND
area a few days ago, 6″ rain in a short time. We
have had a lot of the same here since I was a child
and the events seemed to space out in a 5 to 7
year pattern. Last year a lot of those huge
downpours occurred in ND several times a month. However, in some years all the signs and cloud
formations can be present and nothing in the
way of rain is the result. More of mother
nature's tricks. “Same old”.
